The Hotel Colon Caribe is located only 12 miles (20 km) away from the town of Limon on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. It is set a few minutes from Cahuita and Puerto Viejo, and is surrounded by wild tropical jungles.

Colon Caribe offers 2 swimming pools, and one of them has volleyball net for children which can also be used by adults. The other pool has a Jacuzzi with capacity for up to 20 adults. The hotel also offers a games room surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Limon is the only province of Costa Rica to be entirely on the Caribbean side of the Continental Divide, which makes it very tropical with less of a dry season. To the north of Limon you will find the Tortuguero Canals which lead you into Tortuguero National Park. On the southern half of the Caribbean Coast are Manzanillo, Puerto Viejo and Cahuita. Cahuita is of course where you will find the very popular attraction, Cahuita National Park.

As the name implies, Colon Caribe offers its visitors the lush beauty of the Caribbean, including large beautiful coconut filled palm trees and cozy rooms located amidst the tropical jungle. You will find several canals, rivers and a lagoon, which empties out into the sea. This 4 mile wide navigable lagoon provides a habitat for a rich variety of birds, fish, monkeys, and other flora and fauna. This wonderful accommodation is relatively near the center of Limon City and the airport, which will soon be renovated for international flights.
